 ALLORA Manila is the realization of Meg Ramoso’s life purpose. ALLORA aims to bring back the habit of praying the Holy Rosary in every Filipino Catholic home with its lovingly designed rosaries made out of carefully curated stones and gems.  

As ALLORA fulfills its vision of propagating the habit of praying the Rosary in Filipino Catholic homes, ALLORA is likewise committed to maintain the privacy and protect, to the fullest extent possible and allowable, all personal and other data of its guests and/or customers. Remaining true to the meaning of “ORA”, which is light, ALLORA espouses the virtue of transparency and seeks to inform its customers that in exploring the website, https://www.alloramanila.com, purchasing items, and creating an account with ALLORA personal and other information are collected but that ALLORA shall aspire and ensure that these personal and other information are protected.

With this ALLORA, assures its customers, guests, and/or third persons that ALLORA is compliant with the standards prescribed in the Data Privacy Act of 2012 with respect to any personal data collected.   • Shipping information which includes: a) first name and last name; b) Instagram or Facebook account name; c) complete shipping address including unit/house no., Bldg./Street name, Barangay, City, Region, Country, Postal Code; and, d) mobile number.
  • Billing information, which if different from your shipping information, includes your: a) first name and last name; b) Instagram or Facebook account name; c) complete shipping address including unit/house no., Bldg./Street name, Barangay, City, Region, Country, Postal Code; and, d) mobile number.


Collection Method and Consent

ALLORA Manila is a web-based, online store, accessible through the ALLORA Manila website, https://www.alloramanila.com. Your personal/other information are collected through any of the following ways:

 

1) When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s or mobile phone’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

2) When you purchase an item/items from our store, the personal/other information mentioned above are collected from and given by you. Your information is secured through forms which you will be directed to as you explore the website or when you purchase item(s) from the store.

3) You may either explore our store and/or purchase items from our store as a guest or by signing in your ALLORA account. To sign in, you must first create an ALLORA account. When browsing our website and/or purchasing items from our store, you will be directed to forms that require your personal/other information. Hence, we require information and/or feedback from you so you may continue exploring the website or complete a transaction (i.e. verifying your payment details, submitting your shipping/billing information, placing an order, arranging for delivery, validating that you are not a robot, returning a purchase). When you provide us such information, fill out the forms, and/or give us your feedback/answer, you ultimately give us your consent to keep, store, collect, use, process, and utilize the personal and/or other information which you provide.

5) ALLORA Manila has Newsletter. ALLORA asks for your permission if you wish to be part of the mailing list. ALLORA may send you emails about the store, regarding new products and other updates but only with your permission.

6) If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, other than for the newsletter, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Your personal/other information that ALLORA collects is used to:

  • Process your order requests and fulfill your purchases from the preparation, of the items that you ordered, up to shipping/delivery, from accepting of returns to refund transactions as applicable.
  • Confirmation of your purchases and updating you on the status of your purchased items.
  • Respond to your inquiries and/or requests as well as address to customer or guest concerns.
  • To deliver marketing, promotional materials and newsletter relating to ALLORA Manila’s new products or promos.

ALLORA uses reasonable precautions, follow industry practices, and adheres to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 to ensure that appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards are used to protect your information against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use and other unlawful forms of processing.

ALLORA uses PayPal as a mode of payment and a payment gateway for credit card and debit card transactions. Apart from the security protection provided by the webhost of ALLOR Manila, ALLORA defers to and relies on the security and data privacy features that PayPal and your financial institutions use with respect to online transactions. We encourage you to review and go over the Privacy Policy of these entities to determine and assuage any concerns that you may have regarding the use of PayPal and credit/debit cards.


Disclosure, Processing, &/or Sharing of Personal Information

The following Individuals will have access to, use, and process your Personal Information:

  1. ALLORA personnel to the extent that access and sharing of personal information is necessary to enable such personnel to fulfill and process order requests, answers inquiries, and address concerns.
  2. Third Party Service Providers including courier service providers (such as but not limited to Grab/Lalamove, Gogo Express, JRS and other couriers, and payment gateways [such as but not limited to PayPal, Gcash) which ALLORA engages in and shall engage in to fulfill and process order requests. The third-party providers used by ALLORA will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
    However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
    For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers. In particular, remember that certain providers are located in or have facilities that are located outside of the Philippines and as such as subject to laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Retention Period

ALLORA will store and retain your personal/other information until it is no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose/s for which it was obtained and for an additional period of two (2) years. Thereafter, the data will be erased/deleted.
