MADE TO ORDER

Saint Charbel was a Lebanese Maronite monk known for his deep faith, love for the Eucharist, and devotion to the Blessed Mother. Born in 1828, he lived a humble monastic life and died in 1898 after suffering a stroke while celebrating Mass. After his death, extraordinary signs and miracles of healing began, including the discovery of his incorrupt body. Because of these miracles, he was beatified in 1965 and canonized in 1977, and his intercession continues to bring healing to this day.

People who are sick pray to St. Charbel because:

  • Many medically documented healings have been attributed to his intercession
  • He lived a life of intense prayer, sacrifice, and trust in God
  • His miracles often involve illnesses considered incurable, giving hope where there seems to be none

Because of this, he is lovingly called a saint of miracles, and many turn to him when they are ill, desperate, or in need of God’s healing touch—both body and soul.

THE CHAPLET
The chaplet is made up of five sets of beads, three red, one white and one blue. Five black beads, divide the sets. A medal of the saint connects the beads, with a single white bead following the medal and preceding the five sets.

The red beads are for the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, the virtues by which religious share in the Passion of Christ.

The white beads represent the Holy Eucharist, and the blue beads love and devotion to Our Blessed Mother.

Care tips

The metal materials will age gracefully getting its antique appearance, which can occur at different rates based on your body chemistry and the frequency of use. Here are some tips to delay aging:

Moisture: Moisture is one of the biggest culprits of tarnishing. So, it's important to keep your rosary dry.

Storage: When not in use, store it in an airtight container. This will help to prevent tarnishing from exposure to air. Keep in the pouch and the box provided.

Chemicals: Chemicals can cause tarnishing and damage to the rosary. Avoid exposure to cleaning products, perfumes, hairspray, and other chemicals.

Clean: Regular cleaning can help maintain the luster and appearance of your rosary. Use a dry soft cloth to gently clean your rosary..
